The penguincafe.com website (“the Website”) is owned and operated by Editions Penguin Café Limited (“EPC”), a private limited company registered in England & Wales with the registration number 01882528. EPC’s registered office is at 6 Gray’s Inn Square, London WC1R 2AX. Customer contact information is given at the end of these terms and conditions.

Access to and use of the Website and products and services available through the Website (collectively, the “Services”) are subject to the following terms, conditions and notices (the “Terms of Service”). By using the Services, you are agreeing to all of the Terms of Service, as may be updated by EPC occasionally. Please visit this page regularly to take notice of any amendments we might have made to the Terms of Service.

Access to www.penguincafe.com is permitted on a temporary basis, and we reserve the right to withdraw or amend the Services without notice. We will not be liable if for any reason this Website is unavailable at any time or for any period of time. On occasion, we may restrict access to some or all areas of this Website.

www.penguincafe.com also contains links to other websites, some of which are not operated by EPC (the “Linked Sites”). We have no control over the Linked Sites which we do not operate and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them. You will use the Linked Sites according to the terms of use and service contained within each individual site.


All methods of payments must be cleared before delivery. Payment may be made by Debit Card, Credit Card or PayPal.

We accept Mastercard/Eurocard, Visa/Delta/Electron, Discover, American Express, Switch/Maestro and Solo.

Privacy Policy

EPC respects and regards highly the privacy rights of its online users, and ensures that all information provided is held and transmitted in a protected and confidential environment.

EPC will never store financial details (credit or debit card numbers).

We will not disclose information about our customers to third parties except where it is part of providing a service to you – e.g. arranging for a product to be sent to you, carrying out credit and other security checks and for the purposes of customer research and profiling or where we have your express permission to do so.

We will not sell your name, address, e-mail address, credit card information or personal information to any third party (excluding partners from whom you may have linked to our site) without your permission.

The information you provide may be used by EPC to keep you updated with products, information, events and offers from EPC which may be of interest to you, including new releases by Penguin Café and Sundog as well as concerts and other live performances.

Communication between you and EPC may be by post, email or phone.

By registering with EPC you are consenting for us to use your information in this way.

Delivery will be made after payment is received. All delivery times are approximate and the following should be used as a guide only:

UK – 5 working days
Europe – 10 working days
Worldwide – 15 working days, depending on the destination


For all deliveries within the EU – VAT is included. For deliveries outside EU – VAT/duty will need to be paid on receipt of goods.

Refunds & Exchanges:

Can be accepted within 10 days after delivery, provided the goods are in perfect condition, and the shrink wrap packaging on CDs and DVDs is intact.

After the 10 days, a credit note will be offered within 3 days of receiving the goods, in exchange for your items. Please note goods not returned in the condition requested above will not be refunded or exchanged unless they are faulty.

Please send items back by ‘Special Delivery’ or by any other recorded method, with a receipt obtained from the Post office or Courier used, as we will not be held responsible for any items lost during transit. Postage costs will not be refunded on refunded or exchanged items.

If any goods are faulty, the item(s) will be refunded, exchanged, or replaced as soon as possible. Please send items back by ‘Special Delivery’ or by any other recorded method, with a receipt obtained from the Post office or Courier used, as we will not be held responsible for any items lost during transit. Postage costs will be fully refunded on faulty items.
